WHAT WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE:

Housing: JO-FS scheduled to opened in January 2009 and provides a safe environment for women in need to use during their transitional process. Our goal is to insure these women have access to every possible opportunity to be educated, employed and prepared for the move into their own permanent housing.

Nutrition: All participants are invited to help prepare and share in three meals per day. They will be taught to budget for household needs, shop for and prepare nutritious meal for themselves and others.

Transportation: We provide bus passes and  needed transportation for participants.

Life skills and educational training: JO-FS is committed to provide access to life skills training and educational opportunities for the participants to succeed in life. We propose an on-site GED program, case management personnel, training center, 12 step recovery meetings, etc. Community collaborations with local businesses are in the forming stages and will allow our women to perform work internships to gain job skills and compile a resume.
